GUNNISON’S ‘GREEN GODDESS’

In celebration of spring, Gunnison’s Jessica Sylvanson was crowned “Green Goddess” during Mountain Roots Food Project’s Mountain May Day Celebration in Crested Butte this past Saturday. Mountain Roots calls the goddess “a new position of honor in the community, representing rebirth, renewal, nourishment, conservation and balance.”
