Charles ‘Frank’ Eilebrecht

Charles (Frank) Eilebrecht passed away in Boise, Idaho on Sept. 29. He was born Jan. 9, 1953 in Gunnison, Colo. to Howard Eilebrecht and Thelma Jean Williams. Charles drilled wells for Bob Williams in Gunnison. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1975, served with honor until 1995. He received the U.S. Air Force Medal of Commendation for outstanding service while serving in Korea. Also, served as support during Operation Desert Storm/Desert Shield. Charles retired in Mountain Home, Idaho. Charles is survived by wife Sandra K. Eilebrecht (Nolan) of Boise, Idaho. Sisters, Betty Jean Metcalf of Montrose, Colo., Sharon Peters of Hereford, Colo., and Joanna Simmons of La Junta, Colo. Sons, Eric Eilebrecht of Woodinville, Wash., Gene Eilebrecht of Boise, Idaho and grandchildren Isaac and Athena Eilebrecht of Woodinville, Wash. Charles did not wish to have a service, but we would like him to be remembered as a wonderful father and husband, who loved his family very much and spoke fondly of his days in Gunnison as a child.
