There’s no slack on the chains between each truck — and there are three trucks, by the way. In each large truck is a friend, screaming encouragement while cautiously tapping the breaks so the rigs don’t run into each other. They’re being pulled steadily down West San Juan Avenue in front of Gunnison’s Iron Works.
