The heART of the matter

Ahhh fall, my favorite season in the Gunnison Valley. Our hectic summer winds down, merchants take stock, we hike and bike in fall colors, schools start up a new year and we once again focus attention on the Cowboys, the Mountaineers and the Broncs.

But there’s another powerful force a-foot in our culture, and it can be every bit as satisfying as a hike among the golden aspen. Many of us spend some of this glorious season “recreating” in and celebrating the arts.
