High-density housing a necessary sacrifice

We surmise that even a recently-formed group called Friends of Brush Creek would agree that affordable housing is a problem in the Gunnison Valley, and something needs to be done to address it.

However, the group takes issue with Houston-based Gatesco’s proposal to develop a 17-acre parcel at the intersection of Brush Creek Road and Hwy. 135 south of Crested Butte.
