“Are we the only ones in town?” a friend wrote to me Monday afternoon. No, but i t sort of feels like it. Gunnison’s annual spring break migration is in full effect this week. College and K-12 school is out. Most students and families have fled, seeking a reprieve from winter. Team Dickey is staying put this year, with little “staycation” jaunts to Monarch ski area, Princeton Hot Springs and an overnighter with visiting friends at CBMR. Hard to complain about those choices of activities.
