Conditions of roadways perturb motorists, business owners

Potholes. They’re more than just a joke. At the Mountain Meadows Mall on the north side of Gunnison, they have become a source of frustration for customers, store owners and building owners alike. “They’re just awful,” said one passerby. “You know the city gets blamed for these but it’s not the responsibility of the city,” said Ellen Harriman as she stared at the pavement craters. “I like to ride my bicycle in nice weather like this, but there’s no way I could get through here.”
