Bryan Shadix

Bryan Shadix passed away in his home in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born in Odessa, Texas. When he was 14 his family moved to Lake City, Colo. where he attended Ruland Junior High, Gunnison High School and two years at Western State. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a finance degree. Bryan ran a successful commercial real estate appraisal business in Utah and Idaho. He was known in his community for getting acquainted with all the people he came in touch with in his daily life. No one was overlooked. He never met a stranger. Bryan was synonymous with dirt bikes, the great outdoors, driving/riding/sledding/skiing on the cusp of out of control and, unfortunately, multiple resulting surgeries. He was a huge fan of football and live concerts. Springer Spaniels were his dog of choice but he loved all dogs and cats and even acted as a rescue home for springers. Bryan made sure every child at the local orphanage in Pocatello had a Christmas gift. He was such a giving, kind and upbeat person. Bryan doted on his family and took good care of his true friends. He was the family glue that planned all our get togethers. Bryan is survived by his parents, Noble and Sue Shadix, his newly wedded wife Peggy Shadix, his beloved daughter Hailey Shadix, brother Darren Shadix, and sister Carol Shadix McRae (along with her husband Scott McRae and children Conor, Cole, and Ian), his three loved stepchildren Hope, Dawson, and Paige and a posse of very saddened springer spaniels. Services were held in Pocatello, Idaho on Sunday, Aug. 27. His ashes will later be spread in the San Rafael Swell of Utah where Bryan felt free. Rest in peace Bryan. You are finally out of pain.
