A lifelong animal lover, Kap raised horses and buffalo, as well as provided homes to numerous strays. A true nature enthusiast, Kap enjoyed all outdoor activities such as skiing, biking, and hiking. She loved growing vegetables and flowers in her garden.

Kap’s spirit for life and adventure will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Th e family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of GVH and the GVH Senior Care Center for their love, care and compassion over this difficult time. A private service will be held in Bethany Beach, Del. Donations may be made in Kap’s memory to the Gunnison Valley Animal Welfare League (GVAWL), P.O.
