Ban on pot sales has run its course

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from moves by the states of Colorado and Washington to dabble in the long-taboo topic of legal marijuana, it’s that the prevalence of the drug in our culture is not subsiding. Decisions on the part of voters in both states — and more jurisdictions than we can count also toying with legalization — indicate that marijuana is moving toward the mainstream.
