Season starts this coming weekend for GHS

GHS Track and Field — From Horsey Hill northeast of town, you can see the streets of Gunnison stretch across the valley floor, though it’s doubtful that athletes on the Gunnison High School (GHS) track team are thinking about the view when they crest the hill. Their lungs are on fire from the lack of oxygen, and their muscles burn from the effort of climbing. As winter transitions into spring, the Gunnison track team is preparing for the challenging season ahead.
