Western’s Johnson picking up steam on road to Nationals

Western Track and Field — The old-school “Western State” track singlet he’s wearing is clearly a nod to the rich history of the program. It’s white with a red stripe across the chest, and of a style that suggests it’s nearly as old as the runner who’s wearing it. His efficient stride carries him around the new indoor track as he paws off his toes at just under 4-minute-mile pace.
