When you get knocked down, you get back up, dust yourself off and get back in the saddle.
That never-say-die attitude is one life lesson that high school athletics can impart. It’s a message the 20-some Cowboys on the Gunnison High School football team will never forget.
To put it mildly, GHS has had a tough season. They’re 0-8, have been outscored a combined 368 to 63 and, according to MaxPreps.com, are the 13,860th ranked team in the country.
