Pot tax proposal should earmark uses

The prospect of legal marijuana sales within the City of Gunnison — should voters allow that kind of commerce — has raised important questions about a local tax specific to the drug. Ballot measures asking whether medical and retail sales should be allowed are expected to be accompanied by another question on this fall’s city-wide ballot.
