In a special work session with Gunnison County Commissioners on Tuesday afternoon, representatives of Roth Sheppard Architects presented revised plans for reconstruction of the county courthouse. The original design was created around the idea of preserving and showcasing the two-story brick courthouse, built in 1881. On Friday, March 14, that concept collapsed along with a portion of the building’s exterior walls during renovation.
