Authorities say details still unclear surrounding student’s death

The Western State Colorado University community is reeling over the death of one of its own. Dammion Heard, 20, a freshman at Western, was a member of the school’s wrestling team and competed this past season as the top wrestler in the 125-pound weight class. A memorial service celebrating Heard’s life is planned for today, April 10, at 7:30 p .m. in Taylor Auditorium on Western’s campus.
