Survey next step for RE1J?

As Gunnison Watershed RE1J School District administrators research ways to provide affordable employee housing, a potential next step has become more clear. School board members want to survey district employees to definitively identify current needs.

Superintendent Doug Tredway Monday evening briefed the School Board on discussions taking place within the community between local government and other entities interested in employee housing. He reviewed a new document being developed by the Colorado Rural Schools Alliance called the "Teacher Housing Road Map" which suggests various approaches for districts interested in employee housing.
