David Joseph Paxton died Oct. 22 at his home in Sterling, Colo., where he has lived for many years. He was born Sept. 9, 1971, to Carolyn and the late Gerald Paxton of Gunnison. He is also survived by three sisters, Maureen (Ben), Ann Marie, Michelle (Ron); one brother Andrew (Adria); and two nieces and nephews.
A mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Sterling. After a graveside service, he will be buried in the Gunnison Cemetery. Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13.
