Ralph John Sangosti

Cedaredge resident Ralph John Sangosti passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at his daughter’s residence in Cedaredge. He was 88. Ralph was born to Samuel C. and Mecenzia E. (Pasqua) Sangosti on April 20, 1926, in Sapinero. He spent his early life in Sapinero and later moved to Gunnison. Ralph married Grace Yvonne Phillips in Gunnison. Ralph and Yvonne moved to Grand Junction in 1980. Ralph owned Ralph’s Plumbing & Heating in Gunnison and was a member of the Elk’s Lodge, Eagles in Grand Junction, and a volunteer fireman in Gunni son. He enjoye d hunting, fishing, playing golf and loved playing poker. Ralph is survived by one son, John (Barb) Sangosti of Cedaredge; two daughters, Judy (Mark) Fairchild of Cedar edge, and Jacque (Mitch) Johnson of Morrison; one brother, Sam Sangosti of Montrose; one sister, Eva Mazzuca of Gunni son; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Ralph is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Sangosti, his parents, and three brothers. Ar rangements are under the care and dirction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
