Ronald Larry Davison

Ronald Larry Davison passed away in Norman, Okla. on Sept. 25, 2017. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 2, 1955 to Robert Larry Davison and Lilly Price. Ron graduated from Gunnison High School in 1973 and proceeded to Crested Butte, Colo. to live his life. He worked in construction. He spent most of his time outside in the mountains fishing, hunting, hiking during the summer months and skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling during the winter months. He was at his best in the mountains above Crested Butte. Ron made many friends in life and never lacked for good company whether downtown or around a campfire. In the last few years he traveled to Virginia, Florida where he spent time with three of his sisters and mother. He traveled to Norman, Okla. to be with best friends where he enjoyed life to the end. Ron is survived by father Larry, mother Lilly and stepmother Peggy. Brother Bob Davison of Parlin, Colo., sisters JoDee Wassal of Florida, Connie Davison of Richmond, Va. and Cathy Dewsbury of Richmond, Va. Nieces and nephews Denise, Damon and David, Stefanie, Kristin and Lyndsey. Great niece Sophie. Celebration of life to be held July 1, 2018 in Irwin, Colo.
