Volleyball squad eyeing return to state tourney

GHS Volleyball — Summer is coming to a close for high school students in the Gunnison Valley. While most teenagers likely were savoring their last few mornings of sleeping in early Tuesday, the Gunnison High School (GHS) volleyball team was in the gym, preparing for another run at the state finals. Several dozen girls huffed and puffed through a series of drills, all sharing a common desire to succeed.
