GHS sending top squad to Lakewood

GHS Track and Field — The Gunnison High School (GHS) track and field team wrapped up their regular season this past weekend at the Joe Shields Invitational in Kremmling with some impressive performances. Leo Ferraro ran a personal best in the 110 hurdles for the fourth consecutive week, winning the event in 15.10. The time moves him up to the No. 3 time in the state. Ferraro also won the 300 hurdles. Josh Stephens tallied two wins as well, claiming victories in the shot put and the discus. Stephens recorded personal bests in both events, notching marks of 145-0 in the discus and 44-6 in the shot put.
