New coach brings energy to volleyball team

Western Volleyball — There are 22 voices coming from inside Paul Wright Gym. The friction from rubbersoled shoes and the gym floor echoes through the halls. There’s an energy buzzing as 21 women rotate through positions, while their coach looks on. It’s the first practice of the season for the Western State Colorado University volleyball team, and it’s the first day the team is working with their new coach, Keven John.
