CB hockey parents vote to merge with Gunnison

The names “Blades” and “Blizzard” are gone. Their replacement is yet to be determined. But youth hockey in the Gunnison Valley is about to merge into what organizers hope is one successful hockey club. Crested Butte Parks and Recreation staff last week met with parents and coaches involved in its hockey program about a proposal to merge with the Gunnison Valley Hockey Association (GVHA).
