Original Growler returns to Gunnison

The bold lettering on the website says it all. This route isn’t for the weak. It’s not for the unprepared, or the weekend tourist who wants to enjoy the great outdoors with their partner on a double-seated bike that’s more suited for roads than trails. The Original Growler is the real deal. With nearly 4,000 vertical feet for the one-lap, 32-mile Half-Growler (double that for the two-lap, 64-mile Full-Growler) Hartman Rocks Recreation Area’s tight turns and undulating terrain are sure to burn the quads.
