RE1J’s ballot question seems rushed

The last time Gunnison Watershed RE1J School District leaders approached voters with a request to raise taxes, the proposal was years in the making. In April 2007, talks were well underway about addressing capital needs throughout the district. That month, the School Board received a report from an architectural firm identifying facility needs.
