On the road to Sunday driving

I must be getting old. On a beautiful spring day in the Gunnison Valley, I found myself lacking the motivation to engage in one of those traditional weekend warrior activities. No slaying singletrack on a mountain bike (my poor Specialized Stumpy has been neglected for so long); no spring ski expedition to one of our still very snow-covered back country peaks (too scared of avalanches); no kite-boarding at Blue Mesa (I watched some, though); no fly-fishing foray to some secret creek (I barely have the patience to tie my shoe); no swollen river raft trip (rapids remind me of an amusement park ride, and those upset my stomach).
