GHS Baseball - It only took eight road games to finally bring the Gunnison High School (GHS) baseball team back to the Gunnison Valley. Despite spending the first month of the season playing consistent “away” games as a result of a soggy field in Gunnison, the Cowboys have found themselves undefeated, and on top of the Western Slope League, in advance of GHS’ homeopener this coming Saturday. “All the hard work we put in last summer is paying off now,” said coach Tom Percival. “We’ve got a great team, they’ve really stepped up.”
