GHS runners, jumpers look to improve on last year

GHS Track and Field — There’s still a little snow on the sides of the streets, and the temperatures haven’t reached above 50 degrees yet. You can hear the birds chirping and smell the aroma of life blossoming all around the Gunnison Valley. But it’s still a bit too cold to pull on the spikes and unleash all fury around the outdoor track. You’d think this would be a handicap for the Gunnison High (GHS) track team in competition, but it’s actually helping.
