I was really hoping I wouldn’t have to write one of those “but we all learned something” commentaries. But with an American loss, that’s really the only route you can take. It was like the air had been deflated out of the balloon on Tuesday. Yet, it’s hard not to look at the bright side. Gunnison is a small town. We all know this. For me, it means that sports-watching venues are hard to come by — particularly when you’re searching for soccer.
