Council supports constituents making the call

Let the people decide. Gunnison City Council has indicated that it wants to put the question of whether to allow marijuana sales in city limits squarely on the shoulder of its citizenry in this coming November’s election. Council is expected to officially ask city staff to draft ballot language at Tuesday’s regular session. That’s after two local businessmen with a plan for a new pot shop in Gunnison returned this week to speak to council.
