Seminar focuses on use of technology by youth

As parents struggle to keep their children from devoting too many empty summertime hours to computer use there comes a startling statistic — North American children are spending an average of eight hours a day plugged into some form of technology. That and similar information was presented during a lunchtime seminar — titled “Wired” — hosted by the Gunnison/Hinsdale Early Childhood Council (ECC) last Friday.
