Pauline Grace Hicks Merrigan passed quietly at her home in Phelan, Calif., on July 5. She was born in Broken Bow, Neb., on Dec. 9, 1931, to Grace and Paul Hicks. She married Louis John Merrigan who, preceeded her in death by several years. Pauline’s favorite pastime was reading good books and camping trips into the mountains region around southern California. Her children are Tim Merrigan, Jim Merrigan, Louis Merrigan and Rita Merrigan. She has a granddaughter and a great grandchild, who recently arrived to carry on the family tree. She will be missed by all who knew her.
